Saying Sorry to the Earth

What could 'Saying Sorry' to the earth mean?

Would it do any good?

How might we need to change if we are truly sorry for the way we treat the planet?

An opportunity to imagine a better future

We were inspired by an indigenous perspective from Vicki Walker, the mystical art of Jenny mitchell, the remarkable story-telling of Julie Perrin and the reflective genius of Shane Charles on didgeridoo.

The forum was held on Sunday 30th March 2008

at

Templestowe Uniting Church

104 Atkinson Street Templestowe

Sponsored by an informal group of grandparents/seniors from Manningham and beyond (Grandstand for the Environment).

Many of us feel alarmed and frustrated by the environmental crisis. And many of us feel passionate about the state of our earth as it will be handed on to our children, our nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
